Scholars Foundation AJK worked on its core areas such as education, capacity building, advocacy, career counselling and volunteer resource management and promotion of peace in collaboration with different national and international institutions since its establishment. Scholars Foundation AJK has a number of schools and colleges with a centralized system where we are providing free of cost education to orphans and needy students.

The aim of all our institutional effort is to equip the students with modern and efficient capabilities that can learn to a success for them not only in the domain of their employment necessities but also in intellectual level. The teachers do their level best to stimulate learning capabilities of the students thus can be recognized as detective learners being lead to open new horizons of knowledge.
Students’ Welfare Projects:
Scholars Foundation initiated Scholars Award in 2014 for the promotion of educational activities. We also have Students Sponsorship Project for the orphans and the needy students who are surrounded by the circles of poverty which prevents them to attend the schools.
Scholars Awards:
Scholars Foundation arranges function to award Scholars Awards to those heads of the institutes who show good results in the boards or university results. In the same way, those students who get first Top positions in the board examinations or the university results are given scholars awards. This is a token of appreciation and recognition for the students as well as the heads of the institutes. Scholars Awards was started in 2014 and 50 head of schools and colleges and 260 students were awarded with the Awards.
Students Sponsorship Project:
Scholars Foundation has designed Students Sponsorship Project for the orphans and the needy students who are surrounded by the circles of poverty which prevents them to attend the schools. This project was launched in 2011 and up-till now 500 have got free of cost education from primary to education level. From 2018 Scholars Foundation started to provide copies, books and bags to the vulnerable students.150 students were facilitated from this project.
Teachers’ Training:
Teachers’ training is the backbone of improving quality of education and maintaining it. Scholars Foundation facilitated more the Five hundred teachers through this project.
IT Training:
The application of IT is an essence of this age’s official and domestic life. It is the soul of our educational system. Scholar’s Foundation started to train students, professionals and common men to be well aware of computer programs to use in professional life and cope with the rest of the world in using this capability. Under this project, nearly 10000 students have been facilitated.
Career Counselling:
Career counseling plays an important role in the selection of right career for a student. It is also useful for a student’s life to determine his targets in his educational career. Scholars Foundation organizes career counseling sessions in different government and private educational institutes to judge the capabilities of the students to join a right field in their lives. From 2013 until now in 50 GOVT and private colleges and schools Career Counseling Sessions have been organized and 8500 students have been facilitated.
Peace Promotion Activities in AJK:
Security Orientation Workshops 2014-15: Scholars Foundation AJK is actively working on the promotion of Peace in AJK. Scholars Foundation AJK has conducted security orientation workshops during 2014-15 in collaboration with Azad Kashmir Police department to let the students and teachers come out from the brutal incidence of APS Peshawar. The foundation trained 500 hundred Teachers, CEOs Principals, Security Guards and 200 students of different Govt. and private educational institutes.
International Peace Conference 2017: Peace is considered as a greater facilitator for all economic and other activities. Scholars Foundation AJK has arranged an international conference on peace at PC hotel Muzaffarabad on 14 September 2017. with the objectives to spread peace in the region, to create an environment conducive to understanding among the different shades of opinion and viewpoints, to enhance the role of AJ&K Government in peace efforts in this region to identify issues and tendencies in thought which are dangerous for healthy progress of our country, to create awareness that Kashmir Issue has the potential to destroy the peace of the region and to prioritize issues on which work should be done on a sustainable basis. The participants from diverse fields and religions presented their views on the topic. The activity was much admired throughout the world.
Sarwar e Do Alim (peace Be Upon Him) Our Aman Alim Conference 2014: Scholars Foundation always focused on the activities to enlighten the society with the light and fragrance of peace for the humanity. So, in continuance of the peace promoting activities, Scholars Foundation has organized this conference on August 6, 2016 in Muzaffarabad to get benefit from the sacred seerat of beloved Prophet [Peace be upon him] as he was in favor of the society with no discrimination and the right of everyone should be protected.
Mili Yakjehati Conference 2015: Scholars Foundation organized Mili Yakjehati Conference to give confidence to the students, teachers and other individuals related with different fields of life to become an ambassador of peace promoter on 22 December 2015 in Muzaffarabad. Different intellectuals elaborated the causes of chaos in the society and decided to eradicate these causes from the roots. There was participation of different focal persons belonging to different fields of life.
